Five Tips for Getting Ready to Sell a Home


  • Get estimates for repairs your home needs. Buyers will estimate higher amounts and be more likely to remain interested in your home if they know replacement/repair costs are reasonable. Better yet, repairs any issues you may have.
  • Gather all your warranties including appliances and mechanical systems.
  • Take your time filling out your property disclosure. Buyers are more likely to accept property flaws if they know about them beforehand.
  • Consider having a pre-sale home inspection so you can make repairs needed before placing your home on the market.
  • Additionally, get a pest inspection to assure your potential buyers that your home is not infested.
